Emma Whitehead

Emma has over seven years’ railway experience, originally joining Network Rail on the competitive Network Operations graduate scheme.  Since then, she has worked on several high-profile, complex workstreams - within Major Projects, Maintenance and Operations functions - such as the Thameslink Program, the London Bridge Station Redevelopment scheme, and the London Overground Capacity Improvement Program.

Emma has successfully facilitated collaborative working on asset management plans between different infrastructure owners (Network Rail and Transport for London), negotiated engineering access and solved logistical problems for maintenance teams within complex project environments, and managed operations teams (signalling and response) on busy commuter lines into London.

Emma holds both a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Master of Arts from the University of Warwick, UK.
