Network Rail Consulting in Australia achieves key accreditation

AEO Presentation 24Oct16 thumbFollowing a two-year application and evaluation process, Network Rail Consulting Pty Ltd has been granted Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) status in the disciplines of Signalling & Control Systems, Asset Management, Safety Assurance, Systems Engineering and Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) on Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) projects.

The AEO program, managed by TfNSW’s Asset Standards Authority (ASA) is intended to improve the ability of the public and private sector to collaboratively deliver and maintain NSW rail network assets faster, cheaper, better and safely.  The evaluation criteria referred to as AEO requirements are based on defined competency and capability standards that cover an organisation's level of engineering experience, process maturity and system capability.

James Hooker, regional director Australasia for Network Rail Consulting said ‘I am delighted that following the rigorous assessment process, the ASA has granted Network Rail Consulting AEO status. The process has required collaborative working, commitment and hard work among our team. This status now opens up opportunities and positions us to tender for more work with TfNSW’
