Steve Levene Joins Network Rail Consulting in the Role of Regional Director, Canada

Toronto, March 2025 – Network Rail Consulting (NRC) is pleased to announce Steve Levene in the role of Regional Director, Canada.

With more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure projects, operations, maintenance, asset management and commercial management, Steve has extensive rail experience working on complex engineering, projects, operations, and maintenance both in Canada and the UK. Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Steve held the position of Chief Operating Officer, Rapid Transit at Metrolinx, maximising asset value, reliability, and performance delivering State of Good repair projects. Steve moved to Canada in 2012 from the UK where he was part of the largest Rail Infrastructure projects in Europe and supported the transformation of the Asset Management and Electrification safety in the UK.

Network Rail Consulting is proud to contribute to some of the world’s most exciting projects and transit systems, and now to further grow and invest in shaping the future of transit systems in Canada.
