Magdalena Krusinowska
Magdalena has over 10 years’ experience in the railway industry leading and delivering business change and engineering projects. She is a business strategist, problem solver and a natural leader, passionate about safety and wellbeing, ensuring that equality, diversity and inclusivity are considered in the working environment.
Magdalena joined Network Rail in February 2015 as a project manager and senior engineer transferring to Network Rail Consulting in April 2024 as a Managing Consultant Systems Engineer, part of the Network Integration Team dedicated to delivering the California High Speed Rail Project.
Prior to joining Network Rail, Magdalena worked for over 9 years for the National Express Group based in the UK, starting as a PCV driver. She then moved up the ranks taking on high-profile operational projects’ delivery such as the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, and the NATO Summit 2014. Magdalena further rose to lead and manage several vehicle maintenance depots within the UK Bus Division and moved to Midland Metro section to develop divisional risk assessments approach.
Magdalena is a member of International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), technical member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a student member of Permanent Way Institution (PWI). She has BA in Business and Human Resources Management and MSc in Railway Systems Engineering and Integration.
Magdalena is based in London.
