Katherine Stowe

Katherine is almost 10 years’ experience with a wide range of signalling technologies in both mainline and urban railway environments in the UK. She successfully uses Systems Engineering principles and a benefits-led approach to the deployment of new signalling technology including ETCS, ATO and CBTC.

Katherine joined Network Rail Consulting in September 2022 to focus on the development and integration of digital signalling systems using a Systems Engineering V-lifecycle Prior to joining Network Rail, Katherine had the opportunity work with Network Rail and Thales in the UK, she understands the issues and solutions in implementing CCS systems, having worked on ETCS, ATO, TPWS, CBTC, EULYNX and radio communications projects.

Katherine is Chartered with the Institution of Engineering and Technology. She Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from Deakin University; and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

Katherine is based in Melbourne.
