Martina Sulanova

Martina is an experienced Railway Planning professional with over 12 years of experience in a wide range of roles within Capacity Planning. This includes the successful development and implementation of major timetable changes including development of industry Event Steering Group Framework, development of complex timetables, emergency timetables, capacity analysis and studies, timetable performance improvements and development of governance documents.

Martina also has experience improving processes and systems, setting up new successful teams, business case development, leading change programmes, and providing Subject Matter Expertise to strategic and tactical industry working groups.

Martina joined Network Rail Consulting in November 2022 as Associate Director, Rail Operations to provide expertise in managing major timetable change.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Martina was Advanced Timetable Analysis Manager and Future Services Integration Portfolio Manager leading and managing project teams to deliver concept timetables for multiple major timetable changes across the UK network and strategic capacity analysis. Prior to this, she has assumed various roles including project managing HS2 Materials by Rail (MBR) industry Event Steering Group for major timetable change that has seen the reduction of platforms at London Euston.

Martina holds APM Project Management Qualification and is a member of the Institute of Rail Operators.

Martina is based in Melbourne.
