Oludotun Sobanke
Oludotun has over 12 years’ experience in the railway industry, covering signalling data preparation, timetable data preparation, and the development of safety-critical software applications. Acting as Project Engineer, he has spent the last 10 years working on the development and implementation of signalling automation, traffic management systems and has led teams in the UK. His expertise lies in project delivery, system integration, configuration management, production of data for Railway Control Systems, and claims substantiation for technical disputes.
Oludotun joined Network Rail Consulting in October 2022 as a Traffic Management Systems Engineer for Sydney's Digital Systems Project.
Prior to joining NRC, Oludotun spent 10 years at Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe, where he joined as a Data Engineer, advanced to a to Project Engineer, and then to a Contractor's Responsible Engineer for the Signaller’s Assistant System. Before this, he worked at GE Transportations for two years as a Junior Software Engineer where he supported the development, and testing of the Railway Control System.
Oludotun is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He graduated with a First Class in BEng in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from The University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
Oludotun is based in Sydney.
