Raj Menon

Raj has 16+ years of experience in Engineering & Transport, with over 5 years in leading engineering projects. He brings a global perspective from having worked in several countries and industries to managing Rail projects. His management expertise is spread across all the phases of a project from bidding to commissioning. 

Raj started with Network Rail Consulting in Jan 2019 as a Project Coordinator on Digital Systems Program-Systems Integrator contract. Since then, he has performed various roles in the project management space for the program. He is currently the Project Manager on the Digital Systems Program.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Raj was Chief Engineer on Merchant ships and has worked through the various engineering ranks for more than 10 years. In addition, he has led multiple marine projects within Dredging, Ship conversion and Ship repair over a period of 4 years. He has also expanded his horizons with a short stint in the hospitality industry as an Engineering Manager.

Raj is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and accredited as a Certified Practising Project Practitioner under the Reg PM program of the AIPM. He holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineer Officer-Class I and an MBA from Indian School of Business.
