Stig Hansen

Stig has over 30 years' international business experience in the information and operational technology consultancy sector, 20 years as a company director. He has extensive experience in leading and managing multi-site information and operational technology transformations in Australia, Europe and Asia Pacific. Stig also has significant international business development experience having bid for, won and executed contracts in ANZ, APAC and Europe.

Stig joined Network Rail Consulting in July 2021 to lead the implementation of the Transport Management System for the Customer Channels in the TfNSW Digital Systems Program.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Stig was the Director of SRH Consulting for over 20 years consulting to ASX-50 CBA, BHP, AGL, Asciano, transport agencies TfNSW and Sydney Trains and an APAC Alliance Partner with German INFORM GmbH for 4 years in logistics and transport optimisation.  Before this, he spent 2 years with Capgemini as a Director in the Transport and Energy Practice and 7 years with Deloitte Consulting, joining as a consultant and rising to Senior Manager in the Transport and Energy Practice.

Stig was a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Railway Association and Project Management Institute. He has an MSc in Control Engineering / Automation from the Danish Technical University (DTU).

Stig is based in Sydney.
