Brian King

Brian is a senior business leader and management consultant with over 20 years of proven success in organizational change management, with a primary focus on strategic, operational and business process improvements for large, complex organizations. Brian excels at working with clients, executives, and partners to create strategic visions and facilitate change management to reach organizational goals, maximize performance, and achieve corporate balance and efficiency.

Brian joined Network Rail Consulting (NRC) in February 2025 to lead NRC’s Washington, DC office managing and growing clients in the Mid-Atlantic.

Prior to joining NRC, Brian was a Program Manager at HNTB and was serving as a Management Consultant at Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for over 9 years, solving some of their most challenging problems. Before this, he spent 5 years in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and business management with global logistics and security companies. He also spent 5 years with AECOM managing program finance, contracts and profitability for large scale government contracts.

Brian is a Project Management Professional, seasoned Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) associate, and was nominated as Top 10 under 40 by Railway Track & Structures Magazine. He has BS in Economics from West Virginia University and MS in Resource Economics from University of Florida.
