Dean Moss

Dean is a highly experienced rail professional with 15 years’ experience in the UK rail industry. He has worked from front line to senior leadership roles within maintenance and asset management environments. Dean has extensive knowledge and experience of development, implementation and management of asset and maintenance plans and has led maintenance business units within excess of 500 staff.

Prior to joining NRC, Dean was the Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery Manager for Brighton. He provided strategic leadership and direction for a multi skilled, multi disciplined team on one of the busiest railways route in the UK. He led the day to day maintenance/response and also the strategic long term requirements of maintenance, renewal and infrastructure investment opportunities.

Before joining Network Rail Consulting, Dean was a software and hardware engineer working on global projects from concept to design and build to full production. He worked on multi-national projects in China, France and Germany. Dean is a lean six sigma professional who is well versed in the methodology and can lead complex improvement projects.

Dean has a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering and recently completed his MBA in Strategic Management and Leadership.

Dean is based in Sacramento.
