Gordon has over 25 years of experience in rail infrastructure management. A Chartered Civil Engineer in the UK, Gordon has a Master’s degree in Engineering and an MBA. He combines well-developed asset management expertise with extensive experience in business performance improvement in railway infrastructure.
He specializes in asset management (maintenance, engineering and project delivery), performance improvement & change management, competence & training and systems engineering / innovation. His project experience includes the High Output Track Renewals program and the Crossrail project in London. He served as Network Rail’s Maintenance & Safety Training Manager, responsible for transforming the way the railroad handles competency management and safe work practices.
Gordon’s focus throughout his career has been to improve safety, performance and productivity whilst mentoring key managers by driving through cultural and business change.
