James Merrifield

James has over ten years of experience in transportation including both aviation and rail. He has extensive experience with process improvement and development with a focus in supply chain and planning, supporting corrective and preventative maintenance.

He has joined Network Rail Consulting (NRC) as an Asset Information Manager to support the Asset Management and Maintenance team.

Prior to joining NRC he worked to support the operations of the PTC (Positive Train Control) program within the Procurement and Supply Chain team at Keolis Commuter Services (KCS), driving warranty process definition and support. Prior to his experience at KCS, he worked in aviation for ten years supporting maintenance operations and logistics for a large and diverse general aviation fleet.

James holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and has had training in cloud based solutions architecting including AWS, and Azure. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.

James is based in Boston.
