Keith Sheardown
Keith has over 35 years experience transforming transit maintenance organisations to deliver improved asset reliability and availability. Keith’s career spans all facets of maintenance transformation including operational readiness, organisational culture, Reliability Centred Maintenance, supply chains and workforce development.
Keith joined Network Rail Consulting (NRC) in February 2026 as a Director, Infrastructure Maintenance to support NRC clients that have a desire to optimise all facets of their maintenance programme.
Prior to joining NRC, Keith led the Maintenance Delivery team at Metrolinx, managing the maintenance of rail infrastructure and fixed assets for the commuter rail network serving the Greater Toronto Area. Keith also led the development of an Operational Excellence group deploying Lean tools and processes throughout the maintenance programme. Prior to Metrolinx, Keith spent over a decade with Bombardier, improving the reliability of rolling stock from New York City to Kuala Lumpur, and developing processes and technologies to enhance asset performance. Keith also led major maintenance contracts for Bombardier, responsible for rolling stock maintenance at commuter rail fleets in Los Angeles, Toronto, and New Jersey.
Keith holds a certificate in Excellence in Leadership Program from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
