Maegan Bell

Maegan has over 20 years of experience within the rail industry having held leadership roles in both client and consulting organizations. She has extensive experience in delivering rail improvement and enhancement projects, improving asset management and maintenance practices, program controls and risk management, and strategic business planning.

Maegan joined Network Rail Consulting (NRC) in 2019, leading a team of rail industry subject matter experts supporting clients with major project development, rail operations process, and improvements in asset management and maintenance practices.

Prior to joining NRC, Maegan was the Director of Program Management & Track Renewals Development for 4 years at Network Rail in the UK. Before this, she spent 13 years in asset management and maintenance leadership roles on Network Rail’s West Coast Main Line, one of the UK’s busiest rail corridors.

Maegan is an Executive Private Sector Member of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) International and a Member of the Institute of Asset Management. She has a BA in Law and English, and has been certified in Project Assurance Reviews, P3M3, and LEAN.

Maegan is based in Boston.
