Paul Hebditch

Paul is an accomplished rail operations professional with over 24 years’ experience, predominantly in operations and planning roles, related to classic and high speed rail routes. His specialism is capacity and performance management and was responsible for the successful introduction of high speed Javelin trains for the 2012 London Olympics.   He is experienced in translating strategic objectives into innovative, pragmatic programmes of work; delivering strong advocacy for those programmes to stakeholders at all levels; and taking them into implementation  

Paul was a member of Network Rail’s leadership team, managing an annual operating and capital expenditure budget totalling $600 million. He has developed integrated, operational plans to support delivery of engineering work across 2,000 track miles and the operation of 4,000 train services per day serving London from across the South and East of the UK, including the HS1 into Europe.
