Sandeep Lehal

Sandeep has 16 years' experience in the public sector railway industry. He has extensive experience in operational excellence, program management and management systems auditing.

Sandeep joined Network Rail Consulting (NRC) in September 2025 as Managing Consultant, Operations to help support the Canadian operations.

Prior to joining NRC, Sandeep worked in a variety of leadership and operational improvement roles at Metrolinx for over 8 years. Before this, he spent 8 years with Transport Canada, where he spent time educating the public, industry and municipalities about railway safety, he then progressed into the role of Railway Safety Management Systems Inspector, auditing short line railways against regulatory requirements.

Sandeep is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) and Project Management Professional (PMP). He has a BA in Political Science, and a MBA in Strategic Management from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada.

Sandeep is based in Toronto.
