Thomas Newey

Thomas is a chartered Engineer with a successful delivery within the railway sector for both Client and Contractor on several large multi-disciplinary projects on time and under budget.

Thomas looks forward and rises to challenges and delivers when presented with tight timescales. He is a successful self-motivator, always striving for improvement through the successful collaboration with teams and through the leadership of cross-team tasks to achieve end goals whilst always taking accountability for work performed.

Thomas joins Network Rail Consulting from Siemens as the Senior Specialist Telecoms Project Engineer where he was responsible for mentoring and coaching project engineers into role and providing technical and pastoral leadership & assistance across the UK.

Thomas is currently the Associate Director, SME-Communication Systems in Sacramento and involved in delivering the California High-Speed Rail system.
