William Rothery

William has 20 years of experience in the rail industry, 7 years internationally. He has extensive experience of asset management, track maintenance leadership and the introduction of new technologies.

William joined Network Rail Consulting in February 2015 as Asset Manager for the Saudi Arabia North South Railway. In August 2016 he relocated to the NRC Washington DC office as a Track Engineering Specialist.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, William was Track Maintenance Engineer for Network Rail in the Northwest of England. Prior to this role he had worked as a Track Geometry Senior Technical Officer and an Assistant Track Maintenance Engineer also for Network Rail.

William is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council of the Great Britain. He also holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Leeds.

William is currently based in Washington, D.C.
