Jenna Davis

Specializing in Track Asset Maintenance, Jenna is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (P.E. equivalent) with 10 years’ experience in the Rail Industry. Having managed the Track Maintenance Sections on the busiest multi-use section of railroad in Europe, including over 400 switches and crossings/frogs (interlockings), she has a robust knowledge of the inspection and maintenance regimes required to ensure the safety and performance of the track asset and railroad infrastructure. She has led the introduction of new technology to the field teams and managed the data governance activities with implementing new EAM systems.

With previous experience in Infrastructure/Capital Projects and Engineering Technology teams, Jenna has proven career experience in applying effective Asset Management solutions at all stages of the asset lifecycle.  Working on several projects with multiple transit agencies; including Washington Metro, New York Subways, BCRTC – TransLink (Vancouver) and Amtrak, her remit is to assess, guide and improve the asset management practices for clients based on the methods and experience of Network Rail as a peer transit agency.

Jenna has presented at several conferences including the State of Good Repair Conference, and  American Society of Mechanical Engineers Joint Rail Conference maintaining a research interest in developing new methods of RCM (remote condition monitoring) for operational railroad assets. She is an active member of the Institute of Asset Management in the US, holding committee roles while maintaining her interest and involvement with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers from abroad.
