He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and holds the Association for Project Management Certificate of Programme Management.

With Westinghouse, he was responsible for the successful delivery of the $1.3 billion sub service re-signalling project on the London Underground procured under a Public Private Partnership, and led on programme, budget, contract management and commissioning.  At Transport for London, Tony was responsible for three key programmes – the introduction of new rolling stock, re-tendering of the $7 billion Sub Surface Railway Upgrade and the station re-modelling programme.

His most recent role at Network Rail (Infrastructure Projects) was as the Programme Manager for the $750 million Western Mainline Signalling Project, to re-signal the Western Mainline high speed line from Reading to Bristol, Oxford and Newbury.
