Katie Barclay

Katie has 25 years’ experience in Recruitment (consultancy and inhouse), HR, Training and Coaching/Mentoring and operates in the rail, construction, and engineering industries in both the public and private sectors. Katie joined Network Rail in 2012 and has extensive experience in both the centre and route.

Having represented Network Rail in the UK for 12 years, Katie joined the Brisbane team for Network Rail Consulting in January 2024 to provide training consultancy services to clients for the Cross River Rail project.

Prior to joining Network Rail, Katie worked on London2012 where she was based on site at the Olympic Park representing a consortium – Construction Site Solutions (CSS) incorporating Lavendon Access Services, Speedy Hire, Hewden and BSS. Her role contributed to the delivery of the Olympic Delivery Authority’s (ODA’s) targets and legacy commitments.

Katie is an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). She is a Coach Practitioner and is currently studying towards her Level 7 Diploma in Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors.

Katie is based in Brisbane.
