Thomas Harrison

Tom is an Engineer with 15+ years’ railway experience specialising in digital and conventional signalling. Accomplished in both development and project delivery environments, across multiple technical disciplines in multiple countries.

Tom transitioned to Network Rail Consulting from the parent company, Network Rail, in April 2019.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Tom worked in multiple positions for the parent company Network Rail. Most notably he was a Senior Signalling Engineer for the Digitally Enabled Control Command and Signalling function developing the national ERTMS specifications as well as supporting the development of the European specifications for interoperability. He has supported several high-profile deployments of digital signalling technology including the Traffic Management System for the Anglia route and ETCS Level 2 on the East Coast Main Line.

Tom is an Electrical & Electronic Engineering graduate of the London South Bank University with honours. He has also attained a post graduate degree MSc in Engineering Management and is currently finalising an application to become a Chartered Engineering with Engineers Australia.

Tom is based in Sydney.
