Tina Bui

Tina brings over 12 years of expertise in rail transit, with a strong focus on railway operations, asset management, and project coordination. She has played a pivotal role in key projects like the PATH 2-yr Track Stabilization Plan and the Concept of Operations for Penn Station Reconstruction, where she focused on enhancing infrastructure, reducing disruptions, and improving passenger experience. Her recent work with Amtrak involved leading the development of a critical Electric Traction infrastructure repair plan on the Northeast Corridor, ensuring operational reliability and safety.

Earlier in her career, Tina specialized in highway and traffic signal design, traffic safety analysis, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Her shift to rail transit has enabled her to hone skills in stakeholder management, operational procedure development, and the application of best practices in transit operations. She has been instrumental in optimizing rail service plans, managing infrastructure projects, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of transit systems.

Since November 2022, Tina has served as a Managing Consultant at Network Rail Consulting, using her rail transit expertise to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives. Before this, she was a Senior Consultant at WSP USA, specializing in transportation planning and design, and spent eight years with leading engineering firms such as Jacobs, Iteris, and IBI Group, focusing on traffic engineering.

Tina is a licensed Professional Engineer in Transportation with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, where she also minored in Project Management and Spanish.

Tina is based in Washington, D.C.
