Mark Prior

Mark has over 40 years’ experience in the real estate and infrastructure sectors both as a client and consultant. He has practiced internationally in France, Czech Republic, Middle East, India and Hong Kong and lived in the United Arab Emirates for ten years. Mark has maintained directorships and is currently a non-executive director for Bedfordshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Mark joined Network Rail Consulting in September 2023 as a Non-Executive Director to provide assurance, support and strategic advice to the leadership team.

Mark was previously a Board Member of GL Hearn (a subsidiary of Capita Group); CEO of Programme Cost Consultancy for Aecom and a senior partner at E C Harris (now Arcadis). Mark started his career at British Rail as a permanent way engineer for the Chief Civil Engineer, London Midland Region

Mark is a Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Project Manager and has advanced leadership qualifications from Henley Management College.

Mark is based in London.
