Adam Boughton

Adam is a globally respected professional engineer with a proven record in successful management of complex and challenging projects. With over 30-year Railway Engineering and Project Delivery experience developed through international project and operations leadership roles. He provides consulting and strategic advisory services, the management of expert teams in the delivery of asset optimisation, project delivery and engineering design management.

He has worked on Railway Projects and supported clients on many international engagements including in Australia, United States of America, Republic of South Africa, Mozambique, Peoples Republic of China, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Kenya, Uganda, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Adam joined Network Rail Consulting as the Victoria State Manager in Australia in early 2021.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Adam was the Global Director of Transport, Infrastructure and Facilities for Advisian (Worley Group). Before this he was the Regional Sector Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa with the same company.

Adam is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, chartered engineer with Engineers Australia (CPEng), Registered on the National Professional Engineers Register (NPER), International Professional Engineer (APEC), Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate Diploma in Management.
