Prashant Vijaysinh Desai

Prashant has over 24 years' international business experience in the engineering and rail sector. He has extensive experience of leading and managing complex infrastructure projects in India, United Kingdom and currently is currently working in North America. Prashant has significant international experience in systems engineering, systems integration and interface management working on some prestigious projects working on both the client and consultant side.

Prashant joined Network Rail Consulting in January 2024 to work on the California High Speed rail project as Systems Integration manager.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting, Prashant was Associate Director at Jacobs Engineering Group, Engineering Manager at Transport for London, Assurance Manager at Crossrail Ltd and Engineering Project manager at Balfour Beatty. Prashant also worked in India for Government of Maharashtra as a Senior Engineer prior to moving to UK .

Prashant is a Chartered Fellow and Chartered Manager of Chartered Management Institute UK, Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers UK, Accredited Project Engineer of Transport for London and Member of Institution of Engineers India. He has a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering with a Post Graduate Diploma in management studies and has completed 50+ training courses in engineering, health and safety and management.

Prashant is British Citizen, oversea Citizen of India and US Green card holder he is currently based in Sacramento.
