Ian Park

Ian has worked in the Rail industry (Network Rail) since 2008, working in maintenance he also has experience within Access planning, Electrification and Plant Asset management and Project Management. His latest role was within the Safe and Effective Workforce team rolling out Geofencing technology. Ian has actively worked with local union’s on health and safety matters for the past 15 years supporting colleagues, carrying out investigations and site audits.

Ian Joined Network Rail Consulting towards the end of January 2024 as Principal Consultant for Safety operations, working in Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining Network Rail, Ian ran his own business as an Electrical contractor, working mainly in the Heavy industry, including steel and plastic processing plants and commercial projects.

Ian is a Technician Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK.

Ian is based in Riyadh.
