Mark Sayles

Mark has over 33 years’ rail industry experience within safety, project management, maintenance, communications and continuous improvement. He has extensive experience in safety management, assurance, communications and cultural change, as well as leading large teams within the safety and maintenance communities.

Mark has held various roles within the industry dating back to British Rail in the early 1990s’ through to the present including Signalling Control UK, Westinghouse, Railtrack and Network Rail.

Prior to joining Network Rail Consulting Mark was leading on safety within Capital Delivery for Eastern Region and developing supplier assurance processes, as well as leading on the development of business intelligence systems to provide meaningful insights through the use of big data within safety.

Mark is a Chartered member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Mark is based in Riyadh.
