Moneeb Saqlain

Having led numerous teams on challenging major enhancement, renewal and heavy maintenance projects, Moneeb has a great breadth of experience in multi-disciplinary railway engineering. As an engineering delivery manager, he has recently been leading the delivery of multiple projects for one of the UK’s largest railway enhancement schemes. He has successfully led system integration themes such as CSM, O&M and requirements management. Moneeb has also obtained business development exposure through reviewing bids and tenders.

Moneeb joined Network Rail Consulting in April 2023 as an Associate Director in Rail Engineering.

Moneeb started with Network Rail as an engineering graduate, prior to establishing himself as a track project engineer, responsible for the design and delivery of complex multi-disciplinary S&C projects and heavy maintenance refurbishments. He then rose to work as a senior project engineer (systems) on Transpennine Route Upgrade, accountable for the delivery of multiple diversionary route enhancements in alignment with GRIP and PACE lifecycles. Recently he has been leading core route and diversionary route projects as an engineering delivery manager.

Moneeb studied Economics, Mathematics and Physics prior to graduating in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester. He is an incorporated engineer with the IMechE and a member of the PWI.

Moneeb is based in based in Riyadh.
